A lot of atrocities and senseless violence were committed by both sides, but separation of Bangladesh was certainly due more to Pakistani oppression than "Indian evil". India was just taking advantage of a good opportunity to stick it to an old enemy, which, while certainly a devious thing to due, is in no way "evil" or even surprising. Pakistan mis-governed Bangladesh, and so they have a right to sovereignty, just like the Indian subcontinent had a right to sovereignty after the British mis-managed it. I'm sure if the Bengals decide that they want to be East Pakistanis again they'll let you know. Yeah, it’s all the evil Indian’s fault.
