Saluting Pakistan’s Soldiers Again
My earlier post here saluted Pakistan’s soliders. This post continues to pay deserving tribute to the men and women in khaki who protect our mother country day and night from evil within and without.
My favourite daily the News via its letters or Newspost section has been the medium of choice recently for a passionate and vociferous debate between bloody civilians and soldiers alike, each blaming the other for Pakistan’s mire.
Sadly in such an atmosphere the ordinary soldier is dragged into the mud too. However the ordinary soldier has never failed Pakistan, though its leaders have, both civilian and military. Pakistan’s ordinary soldiers on the other hand have given their all, their blood, sweat and tears to be decorated in the Sabz-Hilali of this land of the pure.
Indeed no words of praise do justice to their sacrifice and today I pay tribute again to Pakistan’s soldiers. I do so by showcasing a video as my personal tribute to Pakistan’s soldiers and their families especially the mothers of such heroes. I know I write it too often, but really I do mean it when I say that the video says it all and it is shown below:
